Picking up After Surgery

· Limit propping of the back door to only the amount of time you are physically carrying traps outside

o This will prevent cats from accidentally escaping and conserve the air conditioning

· You can come at anytime to see if your cat is done and ready to go.  If they have a green cover over their carrier and they are out in the trap room then they are ready to go and you can take them.

· SCC sends out a text when cats are ready for pickup. Sometimes we text mid day with those that are ready, but we will always text at end of day.

· Remove the green trap cover and put it in the large blue laundry bin

o Please DO NOT discard or take any green trap covers

o If it has urine or feces on it put it in the black bag that is tied to the blue laundry bin

· If you borrowed a transfer cage please clean it and put it back on the rack

· Wipe down your TNR shelf after you remove your cat

o Clean rags and soapy water bottles and bleach water bottles are availble next to the sink

· Take your folded photocopied medical record

· Place the clipboard back on the corresponding shelf hook
