want to help street cats, but not so keen on hands on care? no problem! we have LOTS of projects that always need to be completed. the volunteer support specialist is crucial in helping us help cats. this position is a more time flexible volunteer position. from opening syringes, drawing up vaccines, stocking shelves, folding laundry, sweeping and mopping- we’ve got it all.

the volunteer veterinary assistant is a hands on volunteer position working directly with patients. this position requires a significant time commitment of a minimum of 4 times a month from 8-6pm. tasks include setting up the clinic in the morning, prepping cats for surgery, transporting cats, cleaning traps and breaking down the clinic. please note this postion is strucutured under the supervision of the veterinarian and certified veterinary technician. injections, medication administration, anesthesia administration and catheter placement are not a part of this volunteer experience. also, this is not an externship experience for students.
