As a reminder this information is for those who are already in our trapping network.

Dropping off a cat for surgery

· This service is for outdoor cats that will be released back outdoors or for kittens/cats rescued from the the streets of Miami-Dade County that are being prepared for adoption

· Check for an ear tip before bringing to us

· All TNR’s get FVRCP, Rabies, Selamectin and an ear tip

· Do not withhold food

· Place your TNR trap on the second or third shelf of any rack of shelves

o Place the trap long ways! Use the blue tape as your guide

· Place your No Tip/Rescue cat on the top shelf of any rack of shelves

o Your No Tip/Rescue cat/kitten MUST:

have been rescued from Miami-Dade County

be in a hard carrier or transfer cage (if easily irritable/afraid)

o Do not put the cats favorite bedding or toys in the carrier- we are not responsible for losing it

o Your cat must be in a hard carrier

o If your cat is fearful, aggressive or not able to be handled put in a transfer cage

· Find the paper in the black file basket that corresponds to the shelf number that you placed your cat on

o The shelf # on the paper, clipboard and shelf pole all need to match

o Never cross out the shelf number and rewrite it.  Each paper matches a spot that day.  

· Fill in your Trapper ID and fill out the red TNR or Rescue box

· Place the paper on the clipboard and hang on the corresponding hook

· Remove your trap cover and place one of our red covers from the large red bin on your cat

· Take your cover home with you

· Grab a snack and head out 😊
